Da Guyz 4th Grade battled through a competitive weekend at the Oldham Co. Colonel Classic to capture the 2026 Championship with a 3-1 overall record. The team opened pool play with a dominant 48-20 win over Kentucky Basketball Club before falling in a close matchup to Scott Co. Elite, 32-28.

On Championship Sunday, Da Guyz responded in a big way. They defeated Team McGinnis 33-25 in the semifinals to punch their ticket to the title game, then closed out the weekend with a hard-fought 40-35 championship victory over Demi Rayn.

Da Guyz finished the tournament with 149 total points scored and a +37 point differential, showing toughness, resilience, and championship energy all weekend long.

The 6th Grade squad enters playoff action in a WIN OR GO HOME matchup against Higher Level Basketball. With confidence, chemistry, and momentum on their side, the boys are prepared for a tough challenge.

🏆 Quarterfinal Scenario:
If the team wins their first game, they will return later that night for a Quarterfinal Match at 8:45 PM.

This group understands what’s at stake and is ready to compete with heart, toughness, and determination from start to finish.

🔥 KNOW A GUY WHEN YOU SEE ONE 🔥

Sunday was a statement day for the 4th Grade DaGuyz as they handled business and punched their ticket to the Final Four.

In Game 1, DaGuyz came out locked in from the opening tip and dominated E3 with a 34-11 victory in the championship bracket. The defense set the tone early, creating turnovers and turning them into easy baskets while the offense controlled the pace the entire game.

With the win, DaGuyz advanced to the second round matchup against the South Louisville Stingers later that evening. Despite a tough battle early, DaGuyz stayed composed and pulled away for a convincing 47-28 win to continue their playoff run. The team showed toughness, energy, and unselfish basketball on both ends of the floor.

Now the mission continues. With back-to-back playoff wins, DaGuyz have officially advanced to the Final Four and will face J Anthony Elite next Friday with a championship game appearance on the line.

Friday Night Hoops Recap

DaGuyz put together a strong night across all levels, showing toughness, growth, and dominance on the court.

The 4th grade squad set the tone early with a commanding 39-17 win over B-Elite. From the opening tip, it was all DaGuyz — controlling the pace, locking in defensively, and finishing plays on the offensive end. A complete performance from start to finish.

The 5th grade team faced adversity going into their matchup against Louisville Storm, playing shorthanded and leaning on 4th graders to step up. They battled hard and kept things competitive early, showing heart and resilience. Despite the effort, Storm created separation late, handing DaGuyz a 43-22 loss. A tough result, but valuable experience gained.

Closing out the night, the 6th grade group continued their dominant run with a 54-27 win over HLB 2032. Another all-around performance fueled by high energy, strong defense, and efficient scoring. With the win, they remain undefeated, proving they’re a force every time they hit the floor.

A night full of effort, growth, and statement wins. The work continues.

Friday Night Hoops 🏀🔥 — DaGuyz Back In Action!

It’s a full slate for DaGuyz as all three squads hit the floor and look to make a statement. The energy is building, the matchups are set, and it’s time to show up and show out.

The night tips off with our 4th grade squad taking on B-Elite at 5:45 PM at Mid America East. Right after that, the 5th grade team steps in to face Louisville Storm at 6:45 PM, same location, keeping the momentum rolling.

We close the night with our 6th grade group going head-to-head with HLB 2032 at 7:45 PM over at Mid America SC — expect a competitive, high-intensity finish to the night.
