Back to where it all began. 16 years of marriage and nearly 20 years together. Can't imagine running this crazy journey of life with anyone else. Here's to many more years of adventures together!

New hats came in today! This is something I have been wanting to do for a while now. Couldn't be happier with how they turned out. Bobbie at XJ Ranch Embroidery absolutely crushed it

Looking forward to getting back in the shop and turning these slabs into some charcuterie boards. Got some ideas that are ready to come to life.

I am having a hard time letting this board go. This may be my favorite one yet. I absolutely love this color combination. And how about the figuring on that walnut!?! Its not every day you find a piece like that. This board has so much going on it's hard to pick my favorite part. This beast of a board measures 14 x 20 and is made from walnut, paduk, and canarywood. Finished with Cutting Board Oil and Cutting Board Wax.

This is the first end grain board I have made. Super happy with how it turned out. Learned some hard lessons along the way, but definitely see more of these in my future. Made from Ambrosia Maple and finished with Cutting Board Oil and Cutting Board Wax. Measures 18" x 12" x 1.5"

Some herb choppers and stands are heading to new homes today. Choppers are made from farrier rasps; the holders are offcuts from the live edge slabs I work with.

It's a miserable morning outside, but that doesn't mean it still isn't a beautiful day to be alive and be crushing your goals.

This armor tree was a fun project to work on. I don't do a lot work using joinery, so it was a process figuring out the best method to ensure the joints are strong enough to withstand repeated daily use. As a veteran, I have a deep respect for the men and women of law enforcement who put themselves out there every day to protect us. It was an honor to build this for a fellow veteran and current LEO.

I absolutely love products. They really make some amazing finishes and waxes that not only brings out the beauty of the wood, but protects it as well. Best part is their products are made right here in the USA. This poplar/walnut combo just glows after an application of Furniture Finish and wax.
