Mary Jane Gift Quality of Life Fund through the Brown Cancer Center at University of Louisville Her two sons Alex and Tommy were 5 and 8 years old at the time.

Mary Jane Gift was a mother, a sister, a daughter and a friend to many when she was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1987. On April 26th, 2010, her battle with cancer came to end as she was laid to rest. Mary Jane taught us countless lessons throughout the course of her life, and the ones she taught us towards the end are why this Fund was established. Lesson #1. Stay positive...NO MATTER WHAT.She

The 12th annual Spike IT To Cancer Volleyball Tournament benefiting our late mom's fund, the Mary Jane Gift Quality of Life Fund, is going to be July 13th at King Louie's (Blind Squirrel Louisville - Music, Grub, Sports)! Once again it's Coed C sixes with $1,000 winning prize (donated privately outside of money raised) and VOLLIS Volleyball gear for the runners up donated by wonderful Jay Dorsey! All the funds will go to our mom's fund at the UofL Health - Brown Cancer Center to help folks battling cancer pay for things the hospital can't pay for. Our main focus is on housing for bone marrow transplant patients and their families while under going treatment. But we do a lot more than just that. None of it can be done without all of your help!

Do you like watching Pro Volleyball? Do you have kids and want something different, indoors, fun and free to do? If the answer is yes, please come by King Louie’s Sports Complex tomorrow between 9 and 5 to watch 2 v 2 indoor volleyball. We have teams coming in from as far as St Louis MO to compete for up to $2,000 in cash.

All proceeds benefit the Mary Jane Gift Quality of Life Fund.
