FC Storm is excited to announce a new partnership with August Performance Physical Therapy, powered by Fitness 3K. This partnership is about supporting the health, performance, and recovery of our athletes on and off the field.

FC Storm families now have access to free injury consultations within 24 to 48 hours, so players can get evaluated quickly and get a plan in place instead of waiting weeks for answers. August will also offer preseason and postseason movement screenings to help identify injury risk early, along with discounted rates on sports physical therapy and recovery sessions designed specifically for soccer athletes.

FC Storm offers four different programs, each built for a different stage of a player's development:

Academy: A non-tryout development program designed for U7–U8 pre-select players. It's a great starting point for players getting their first introduction to organized training and team soccer.

FC Storm: Training and Select teams for U9–U19 players. This program focuses on building technical and tactical skills as players move into competitive, tryout-based soccer.

FCS Premier: Training and more competitive teams for U11–U19 players with advanced skills. Premier teams train and compete at a higher level, with an emphasis on continued individual and team development.

High School: Built around the needs of high school age players, from freshman year through senior year (U15–U19). This program supports players balancing high school soccer with continued club training.

If you've been around U9 & U10 training, you've probably crossed paths with Kyle McLaughlin. As Director of Coaching for that age group, he oversees the implementation of the FC Storm Training Curriculum, making sure our youngest players are building the technical and tactical foundation to prepare them for the 9v9 level. Kyle rotates through training sessions and games across all U9 & U10 teams, mentoring our newer coaches along the way.

Kyle brings a wealth of high school and club coaching experience to FC Storm. Since starting his coaching career in 2016, he's worked at LaSalle in the GCL South, served as Men's Co-Head Coach at Badin, and later transitioned to coaching women's soccer with Badin Women's before being named Colerain High School Women's Head Coach in late 2022.

Kyle grew up in the Cincinnati area and attended LaSalle High School, where he was team captain. He went on to help restart the club soccer team at NKU, leading and playing there for two years. Kyle lives in Cincinnati with his wife, Alyssa, and their dogs, Archer and Bodie, who join them on hikes whenever they get the chance.

Whether you play Academy, Select, or Premier, FC Storm Night at FC Cincinnati on September 12 is for the whole club. We'll have a group section together (222–224) at a discounted rate, and as more tickets get claimed, we unlock additional perks — including the chance for players to be part of the on-field experience!

We're proud to share that multiple FC Storm Premier teams have been accepted into the new National 1 League, launching in the 2026-27 season!

National 1 is the newly created top team-based competition in US Club Soccer and US Youth Soccer, connecting top clubs nationally through a platform integrated with the ECNL pathway. Teams are selected based on merit, and this acceptance reflects the continued growth of our Premier Program.

If you've spent any time around FC Storm, chances are Anthony Doherty has had a hand in it. As Sr. Director of Coaching, he leads the technical and tactical direction for the club across every age group, from our youngest Academy players through high school. He also serves as Coaching Director for the Premier Program, where he still coaches teams himself.

Anthony has been training players in Loveland since 2014, working with everyone from five-year-olds just starting out to varsity athletes. He's coached at more than 75 camps in 15 states and spent three years as Assistant Varsity Coach for Loveland High School's boys soccer team. Since 2017, he's also worked year-round with LYSA to help build out training quality across the rec program.

His path to coaching started early: Anthony grew up playing soccer in Manchester, UK, and began coaching for the same clubs he came up through as a kid. He went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Sports Coaching from the University of Central Lancashire, and while in school, worked as a performance video analyst for Blackburn Rovers. These days, he and his wife, Paige, are raising three future Storm players of their own.

Mark your calendars: FC Storm Night at FC Cincinnati is September 12th, and FC Storm players could be part of the on-field experience this year: walkouts, flag bearers, center circle, and sideline showcase are all in play, but each one only happens once we hit a minimum number of tickets sold. The more tickets we sell, the more spots we unlock!

Tickets are discounted for our club, and this year you can choose your exact seats when you buy - so if you want to sit with your team or friends, don't wait. Sections 222, 223, and 224 are available starting at $39.
