🏀 2026 Matt Embry Memorial Boys Basketball Summer League

We are very excited to host and continue what Coach Page built with the Matt Embry Memorial Summer League. This league has always been about giving kids an opportunity to compete, grow, and enjoy the game of basketball while honoring a great legacy.
There will be some great hoops action throughout the summer as our guys get the opportunity to work together, build chemistry, and sharpen their skills ahead of next season.

We also want to make it clear that we will have ZERO tolerance for disrespect toward officials or opponents from players, coaches, or spectators. We want this environment to be competitive, energetic, and positive for everyone involved.

Games are played at Memorial HS, Liberty HS and Laura Bush MS.

Buckle up and enjoy some great hoops action throughout the months of May and June! 🏀

🚧 Heritage Middle School Track & Field Closure Notice 🚧

As part of the 2024 Bond projects, all Frenship ISD middle schools will receive upgraded turf fields designed to improve athletic facilities while being more cost-effective and easier to maintain.

Beginning next week, Heritage Middle School’s track and field will close as construction begins on the new turf football field. Because the facility is widely used by Frenship families and the surrounding community, it will remain closed throughout the summer to ensure safety during installation.

We appreciate your patience and support as these exciting improvements continue across Frenship ISD!

SPRING TESTING
Spring testing is officially complete.

For the last 8 weeks, our guys have been putting in work in the weight room — and the results showed.

Every single player improved in weight gained, vertical jump, lane agility, and the 3/4 court sprint.
Check out the leaderboard from our spring testing session. The growth across the board has been tremendous, and it’s a direct result of consistency, discipline, and effort.

Program totals through spring testing:

🏋️ Total Strength Gain: +850 lbs.

📈 Average Gain Per Player: +56.6 lbs.

Bench Press: +175 lbs. (Avg. +11.6)

Squat: +415 lbs. (Avg. +27.6)

Power Clean: +260 lbs. (Avg. +17.3)

Proud of the work these guys continue to put in daily. This is just the beginning. We’re excited to roll into the summer and continue chasing our goals together.
