What a weekend.

I got to accomplish something I’ve dreamed about and officially finish my first Little 500. To say this race tested us would be an understatement. We faced obstacle after obstacle all week long, but this team never quit. Through it all we kept digging until the very end. I can’t thank Sam and Aaron Pierce enough for the opportunity, support, and belief in me throughout this journey. To be surrounded by people who are invested in helping me grow means more than words can explain. I’m grateful for every lap, every lesson, and every person who played a part in this experience this weekend. The Little 500 is one of the toughest and most prestigious races there is, and being able to say I completed my first one is something I’ll never forget. This weekend showed me what grit, determination, teamwork, and heart truly look like. Thank you to my crew, supporters, sponsors, family, and everyone cheering us on through the struggles and successes alike. We may have gotten knocked down a few times, but we never stayed there. Ready to build for next year!

We roll off 13th for the Little 500! First off those that don’t know my V6 little 500 motor had mechanical issues the night before coming, so we switched seats to a back up car and unloaded yesterday. As Dave would say “we brought our back up quarter back to the Super Bowl” we just couldn’t find speed, so we went to work. Not one person hung their head and everyone threw out ideas. This morning we came together with a plan and it worked. Thank you to all these guys that stick it out with me through the highs and lows and never give up. I appreciate all of you for the countless hours you put into this behind the scenes, now let’s go run 500 laps boys!

Tonight I stood on stage at the Little 500 inductee hall of fame banquet and accepted an award for finishing 3rd in the National Pavement Sprint Car rankings last year. I’m holding my head high because I’ve found myself next to two of the best to ever do it, yet again. I learn something from both of these veterans every time I get on a track with them. Special thanks to David Sink and Pavement Pounders for all your hard work and keeping track of every pavement sprint car race in the country, you don’t get enough credit. Thanks for everything and congrats on your Little 500 Inductee Award! 🥉
