Congratulations to the 14U Firecrackers National Team! We’re grateful to be part of an organization where our girls have such high level players to look up to. Now bring home the trophy Firecrackers🧨💪

Despite holding the #5 ranking in the country for Alliance, our girls entered the AFCS unseeded. 🤯

To say they’re playing with a chip on their shoulder would be an understatement.

Four wins vs Top-10 seeded teams alone, and we’re still alive! Only 6 teams left standing!

🥎We ended our season on another successful weekend!

This team has developed so much grit and grown exponentially over the last year. When they first came together, some had never played travel, some were still 8, many had never seen a live pitch. They learned to play through pressure, handle adversity, and step up when their team needed them. They overcame obstacles personally and as a group. Most importantly, they came together and functioned as a team, celebrating their teammates’ successes and picking each other up when they were down.

After going 3-0 in Birmingham, we ended up taking second in the gold bracket to a GREAT team, but these girls have nothing to hang their heads about. We ended our season with so many accomplishments, and 4 championship appearances out of 6 summer tournaments.

Anyways… these girls came to play for their final tournament weekend. We’re 2-0 again on our way into the gold bracket at the Birmingham Battle Royale.🔥🔥

We’re not done yet though, tomorrow marks our final day as a 9U team and we’re ready to leave it all on the field.

It was another Championship Sunday for the Firecrackers🏆🧨

We had a great weekend filled with fantastic pitching, heads-up plays, and hits that came in clutch. The girls fought all day long in bracket with 9 other teams in their age division. The championship game came down to a couple runs after being tied for multiple innings. Overall, we are so proud of this team for how far they’ve come, placing top 2 in 3/5 of our summer tournaments. We have one last weekend in Birmingham coming up and we can’t wait to leave it all on the field!

A special thank you to all of the dads, grandpas, and other father figures that spent the day supporting our team. The girls loved their walkup songs that were handpicked by their dads. It was a fun day for the Firecrackers family.🧨🥎

School’s out for the Firecrackers☀️🍉⛱️We celebrated at practice with a home run derby, dunk tank throwing competition, and a team ice cream outing. Is there any better way to kick off summer than with some team bonding fun?!
