Bennett Memorial Bonus Money Rescheduled for Upcoming Lincoln Speedway Events

Crown Vic lap money moves to BRANDT Season Championship Night; Super Late Model and Modified bonuses shift to DIRTcar Fall Nationals

LINCOLN, Ill. — Bennett Memorial organizers and track officials have announced the rescheduled dates for the remaining Bennett Memorial bonus money, giving racers in three divisions another opportunity to compete for the special $50-per-lap-led bonuses later this season.

The Crown Vic portion of the Bennett Memorial will now be contested during BRANDT Season Championship Night on Friday, September 4. In addition to the regular racing program, Crown Vic competitors will have $50 available for every lap led, adding extra incentive and excitement to the season-ending championship event.

For the Super Late Models and Taco Bell DIRTcar Modifieds, their Bennett Memorial lap-leader bonus money will carry over to the Friday night portion of the DIRTcar Fall Nationals on Friday, October 16. Both divisions will race for the same $50-per-lap-led bonus money originally designated for the Bennett Memorial.

The rescheduled bonuses add even more importance to two already major dates on the Lincoln Speedway calendar. BRANDT Season Championship Night on September 4 will provide the Crown Vics with an added payday as the season winds down, while the DIRTcar Fall Nationals on October 15-17 will once again bring a huge weekend of racing to the Logan County Fairgrounds.

Lincoln Speedway appreciates everyone who supported the Bennett Memorial and looks forward to putting the remaining bonus money back on the line for the racers this fall.

We wanted to provide everyone with a quick update regarding the rescheduled date for the Bennett Memorial Race.

We are still working closely with the officials at Lincoln Speedway to finalize a makeup date for the event. We know there has been some discussion around Thursday, July 2nd with the Summer Nationals Hell Tour, but unfortunately that date did not work for us, which is why the Bennett Memorial Race will not be taking place that night.

Please know we are actively working to find a new date, and we will share that information as soon as everything is confirmed.

We want to sincerely thank all of our amazing sponsors, supporters, drivers, and fans for your patience and continued support. We appreciate each and every one of you and look forward to making this event happen very soon!
