The first half was HOT. 94 degrees on turf… Brutal.

We had a disappointing first half and conceded early that put us down 1-0 at half. Although we dominated it, we were not playing our style.

Our second half performance was a complete turn around. We started playing the Angelus Way.

⚽️ 17 mins. into the second half Chris Stepe scored from a quick corner from Noe Yanez-Robles. This tied it right before the lightning delay.

*insert injury and lightning delay (wishing a quick recovery to the LAX FC player)*

⚽️ Clay Adam’s scored a screamer from a freekick 35 yards out.

LAX FC responded with a screamer of their own with a shot from the corner of the 18 that hit the upper 90 cross bar and post.

⚽️ Noe earned a PK that Clay buried, to put us up in the 82nd min.

⚽️ Benjamin Ashtar won the ball and drove at half field and played Stephon Davis through. Stephon created space for himself and finished clinically.

It was a turnaround performance with a deserving 4-2 win.
Our proudest moment was seeing the team play the Angelus Way.
