We are a UW-Madison student organization that works to push "green" initiatives on campus and in the greater Madison community. Come to a meeting!

"The Sustainability Committee provides a medium for exchanging ideas and running campaigns pertaining to environmental sustainability. This committee is also involved in legislation that relates to issues of environmental sustainability." We meet Wednesdays at 7 PM in the Caucus Room (4th Floor) of the SAC. Stay tuned for updates on our different campaigns! They include:
- Instituting an Environmental Education Requirement at UW
- Decreasing plastic bag usage at Fresh Market Madison
- Improving signage on UW's campus that promotes sustainable behavior

‼️‼️it’s that time of the year again, and climate action is more crucial now than ever. Grab your friends, family, neighbors, coworkers, professors, classmates, and even people you pass by on the street and head to library mall on Friday, April 25th, at 4pm. WEAR BLACK. We’ll be marching to the steps of the Capitol alongside the forward marching band. It’s time elected leaders STOP THE ROLLBACK of crucial environmental protections, international agreements, climate infrastructure, crucial environmental research (from PFAs to lead to carbon capture) and environmental agencies. Show our elected leaders that students care about our planet and demand its protection forever… and insist that they stand up to the regime that would rather prioritize “unleashing the power of American energy” than safeguarding the human right to clean water and air. Show up. We can’t wait to see you there.

time to discuss sustainability goals and concerns on
campus. All graduate and undergraduate students are
