We note the passing of long-time LMSC Flying Scot sailor, John Sommers. John was an avid and skilled sailor, and a valued member of LMSC.

Hi LMSC Members,

Just a friendly reminder that our Clinigatta weekend is right around the corner—July 11–13—and we can’t wait to see you there!

We’ll kick things off on Friday, July 11 with registration and tuning/rigging help at Olbrich Boat Launch and a welcome party at the Elks Club. Then on Saturday and Sunday, prepare for an action-packed weekend of clinics and sailing with fellow members.

Saturday night, the festivities continue with a party at Mad Sails, graciously hosted by Ryan and Stacey—don’t miss it!

2024 Piers Out Work Day!

Saturday Oct 12 is the work day to remove the LMSC piers.

We will begin at Olin Park at 8:00am and end when the piers are in storage at McCormick's lumber Yard.

The club will be hiring outside labor to augment the clubs attendees. Note that if you paid a performance deposit as part of your slip rental, it covers only part of the cost of outside workers.

Please help us with the planning for that hiring by registering even if you are unable to attend

Remember participation qualifies you for the refund of your performance deposit if you are a slip renter.

Note: Backup date Sunday Oct 13 same time.
