Our water slide is all refurbished!

This last week, the slide was recaulked, sealed, treated & waxed, while the stairs got a fresh coat of paint and a new anti-slip finish!

She’s looking shiny, refreshed, and almost ready for swimmers. 👀💦

Come check it out when we re-open! Our first Open Rec Swim of the fall is Sunday Oct 4 from 1–4PM!

We’re getting closer and closer to re-opening, and our team has been busy checking projects off the list!

-Our water slide has been sealed, treated & waxed, with freshly treated and anti-slip painted stairs
-Pool toys, equipment & lifejackets have been cleaned, treated, inventoried & organized
-A new ADA-accessible water bottle filling station & fountain has been installed
-Locker rooms, family rooms, the lobby, meeting room & pool deck have all gotten some serious deep cleaning
-Carpets, furniture, tables, bleachers, trash cans and more have been cleaned and power washed
-Lobby furniture has been reset with ADA accessibility and emergency access in mind
-Plus, plenty of organizing, filing, programming and Red Cross work!

Another busy maintenance week at the MAC! 🧹🛠️

Our team has been putting in the work all around the facility—power washing, deep cleaning locker rooms and showers, rebuilding showers, cleaning floors and carpets, organizing staff spaces, and freshening up the lobby.

Plus, some of our bigger projects are underway, including refurbishing the water slide and replacing one of our drinking fountains with an ADA-accessible water bottle filling station! 👀

Our staff gave the break room a full refresh—scrubbing, cleaning, organizing, and rearranging to get it ready for a fresh start this fall. 🍂

As part of our September maintenance, the slide is being refurbished, caulked, sealed, and waxed so it’s ready for plenty more splashing, sliding, and fun!
