Two lucky winners will each take home ½ a butchered pig, wrapped and freezer-ready.

We had a great Duel Meet on Wednesday night! Thank you so much to the parents, family and Community Members who came out to support these wrestlers! Everyone wrestled their hearts out and we couldn't be prouder.

What a great start to our 2025 Surprise Valley Wrestling Season! We hosted a fun New Years Eve Fundraiser with a live band and, as always, we were honored and humbled by the level of Community support. A HUGE thank you to our kind and generous donors!

SWV orientation and annual Tug-of-War contest was a fun event and it was great to see so many new faces! We're looking forward to the 2025 wrestling season with all of our athletes!

Wrestling Friends and Family! There is currently a scam going around targeting Surprise Valley Wrestling Families and fans with the offer to purchase Merch. Please do not purchase anything SVW until we get this straightened out. Thank you for all your support!!

Thank you Modoc County for the huge ammount of support and love you provided for Surprise Valley Wrestling this season. Whether it was donating time, ensuring your wrestlers got to practice every day, donating wood to keep our wrestling room warm, posting about our great young wrestlers on Facebook or providing financial contributions so we could provide programming and expand mat space for 2025 we want you to know that we could never have done it without you. Wrestling teaches a unique combination of strength, self-reliance and humility and we are honored to be working to instill that in our youth. We love being a part of this wonderful community and we are so incredibly thankful that we have the opportunity to see these youth grow up wrestling for SVW. Happy Spring Everyone!!

We are so very greatful to all of the families, friends and community members who came out to Surprise Valley Wrestling's third annual Duel Meet to support our youth wrestlers. Through your continued support we are well on our way to building a club full of outstanding young wrestlers both on and off the mat. We are honored and humbled by this community's generousity and are excited to announce that we have nearly reached our fundraising goal for purchasing new mats to expand the wrestling room space.

A special thank you to Alturas Sunrise Rotary for their generous contribution towards our new mat space (and for making the snowy drive over the hill to join us!) and to our funding partner First5 Modoc for thier continued support of Surprise Valley Wrestling's youngest wrestlers.

Surprise Valley Wrestling is hosting thier third annual duel meet on Thursday, February 29th from 5-7PM at the wrestling room (610 Main St, Cedarville). We encourage the public to attend this fun event and support our Surprise Valley Wrestling wrestlers and thier families!

We had a great evening on Friday with the open climbing wall. Great to see all the kids out playing and having a good time and the community supporting SVW!
