We seem to have a few turkeys camping with us this week.

Campground closes 10/15. I’ve been here since May. I suppose everyone has their own criteria for good camping spots, but for me this place has been perfect!❤️ very close to Bangor and a short trip to many points of interest. Close to airport but the noise from there is all that slightly diminishes from country feel. For me … I find it interesting.
Not sure, but I think maybe 30-40% sites are seasonal … people like me who love it! Everyone has been friendly. There are summer weekend events and more in the works for next year. Staff is friendly and the rules are reasonable and not sanctimonious!
To me the best part …. Seeing kids and families outside enjoying nature and the playgrounds. Kids meeting new kids! Kids riding bikes and making up new games … like the old days when our parents told us to “go play outside!” And I have a rekindled respect for tent campers! Intrepid souls!!
I’m happy to be returning next year and I say … check it out!😀

This Event will be for ages 8 and up per policy, we will be set up just beyond the Pavillion, we hope to see you there!
