Another big day at Eastern Zone Sectionals in Christiansburg. OCCS swam to some new team records and lots of top three finishes. The team was also the highlight of spirit and cheering on deck (and in stands). With one more day to go Occoquan still leads the over all team scoring as well as the mens’ and womens’ race.

Although the qualifying period doesn’t start till November, big congrats to alumni Abby Daniel on becoming the latest Occoquan Swimming - OCCS Olympic Trial qualifier in swimming 59.68 in the 100m fly at US Nationals this week. (Also pictured left is 2021 Occoquan Swimming - OCCS Trials competitor Emily Hetzer). Emily swims the 1500 free today and Abby will race the 200 IM later today in Irvine, CA.
