Spring has sprung! You may notice some tiny blooms on your plants that never flower. The additional sunlight and warmer temps let them flaunt their stuff!

Wonder why your maidenhair ferns never look the same after you buy them from the garden center, they get crispy and eventually die out? They love humidity. A LOT of it. 💦 Their perfect place is by a waterfall or above a river where the moving water allows for small droplets to escape to the air and spray the plant continuously with fresh water. Picture being at the spa all day. That why your ferns are not as happy in your house and particularly if you live somewhere that has all four seasons. Find plant species that work for your life. There’s plenty of non fussing ferna to choose from like Staghorn and Boston ferns!

Love what a good makeover can do.

This is a monsteras natural habitat. They are vines that rely on large trees to create a stable environment for them to climb and a canopy to protect them from storms and bright sunlight. Its a symbiotic relationship. Both the tree and monstera benefit.
When I bring a monstera into a space I try to emulate their natural happy state but this beauty in Costa Rica was certainly living her best life.

No filter needed for this beauty. Bougenvilla grow all over Spain (where Im originally from) and every time I see them it brings me back. They cover entire homes out there and against the white and red roof tiles they really do send me.
