Impact Kayak Club

Impact Kayak Club exists to promote outdoor activities, enjoy nature in Eastern Ky, and create friendship among those who enjoy Gods creation.

Impact Kayak Club promotes Gods creation by enjoying the outdoors, river runs, bass tournaments, and other river activities! To become a member of Impact Kayak Club email us at [email protected].">[email protected]. Annual dues are $25 and include an Impact Kayak Tee shirt, emblem/sticker, and event calendar. All proceeds go to Impact Outdoors which sponsors Impact Archery and Impact Kayak Club. Both are ministry based and are aimed at reaching people of all ages for Christ. [05/20/16]   Due to the weather and river conditions the river clean up scheduled for friday at 5 is cancelled. Sorry for any inconvienience this may have caused. The cleanup will be rescheduled at a later date if it ever quits raining.

[05/10/16]   Impact Kayak Club is hosting a River clean-up on May 20th starting at 5pm. The clean-up will start at the Salt Works Cabins and go to Rawlings-Stinson Park. All kayakers and boaters are welcome. Some will be on the water while others will be walking the river trail and doing clean-up on it. Please come out and show your pride by keeping our rivers and trails clean and beautiful!! Lets put on our work gloves and keep the community clean. Impact Kayak Club

Next Thursday's Impact outing will be at Beech Creek Lake around 6pm. It's kayak Thursday and we want to see how many yaks we can get in the water. Impact Archery

Impact Outdoor Ministries is expanding into a new ministry area this Spring and Summer. Impact now has two ongoing outdoor ministry opportunities: Impact Archery, and Impact Kayak Club. Beginning in April 2015, Impact Outdoors will add Impact Outdoor Adventure Camp. During these camps, children from ages 8 through 16 will be able to take part in what we are calling Adventure Weekends. These weekends will include two nights of camping and outdoor adventures such as but not limited to: compass courses, hiking, kayaking, archery, outdoor cooking, horse riding adventures, team building, rope courses, edible plant recognition, wilderness survival, etc . All equipment except for personal items will be supplied by Impact Outdoor Ministry and is free for each child to enjoy. As these camps are at no charge for children, we are asking that you prayerfully consider making a donation or supplying the adventure camp with some of the items listed below. Dish rags, dish sponges/brush ,Dish washing detergent, 3 square wash basins to wash dishes, Hand sanitizer, Insect repellant, Baby wipes, paper towels, Water, Kool aid 19 oz (any flavor), Lemonade mix, Gator Aid mix, Snack Cakes, Cooking oil, Coffee (creamer, sugar),aluminum foil, meal, flour, salt, pepper, pancake mix/syrup, ketchup, mustard, Charcoal, hand can opener, Band Aids, First Aid Kit, Poison Ivy cream/anti-biotic cream, Metal tiki torches/citronella, hand held broom/dust pan, table cloths, pot holders, tent stakes, football, basketball, Frisbee, garbage bags, Ziploc bags, storage bowls, dry bags, metal hot dog sticks, boxes of matches, propane fuel for lantern (16oz), 1 shovel, 1 rake, 1 mattock, water hose, extension cord, rubber outside rugs for front of tents, tent waterproof can spray, sun screen, fishing rod and reels, life jackets of any size.
Impact Outdoors is a 501c3 ministry. All donations can receive a receipt in the amount of the donation. [03/24/15]   Impact Outdoor Ministries will be having an informational meeting Sunday March 29th at 4:30, Gray Fork Baptist Church. Anyone interested in being involved in or just finding out more information about Impact Outdoor ministries (Impact Kayak, Impact Archery, Impact Adventure Weekends) are welcome to come and join in. [12/05/14]   We will be working on the floats for the parade after church on Sunday. The parade begins line up at 3. Anyone wanting to help is welcome to participate. Any kids and adults that want to participate in the parade meet at EKU bldg at three.

What an awesome time tonight and a great turnout on this cool first day of Fall. Thanks to John for his teaching kayak safety and in water re entry technique.
