๐พโพ๏ธ WORTH THE WAIT! โพ๏ธ๐พ
The Panthers walked off Cashtown, winning 5-4, in a 12-inning thriller!
The winning run came home on a walk-off passed ball after Tyler Vonella worked a leadoff walk and came all the way around to score the game-winner.
On the mound, the Panthers got another outstanding effort from their pitching staff. Spencer Monroe allowed just 2 earned runs over the first 7 innings punching out 8. Joey Bodmer was dominant in relief, firing 5 scoreless innings, allowing only 2 hits, picking up the win and lowered his season-long ERA to 1.84 ๐ช
At the plate, Ethan Brathuhn led the charge with 2 RBI and was one of four Panthers to record multiple hits. Kevin Burnham, Brady Brathuhn, and Joey Bodmer also turned in multi-hit performances.
Game 1 ended in a 10-3 loss, but the Panthers battled throughout. โThe Kidโ Bob Taylor blasted a home run over the CF fence, while Konner Bodmer and Christian Zito each collected 2 hits. Evan Paul kept the Panthers within striking distance by pitching into the 6th inning.
A split on the day, but a gritty walk-off win to end it. Thatโs a good way to head into the week. ๐พ๐ฅ

๐พโพ๏ธ The Panthers are off this week, but weโll be back in action Sunday for a doubleheader at Christmas Tree Park against the Littlestown Dodgers. First pitch is set for 1PM. ๐
Sunday was a tough afternoon for the Panthers, suffering two losses to the Mason-Dixon Rebels.
Game 1 slipped away late in a 6-4 loss despite a strong effort on the mound from Spencer Monroe in his season debut, he allowed just 2 earned runs over 5.2 innings while striking out 7 (walking none!).
At the plate, Wade Groupp crushed a go-ahead 3-run homer in the 5th inning, while Bob Taylor continued to turn back the clock, racking up 3 hits in game 1. Kevin Burnham also picked up his first double of the season, driving in a run.
Game 2 was a tougher one, as defensive miscues really hurt the Panthers throughout the afternoon. One bright spot again was Bob Taylor, who stayed red hot and added 2 more hits, finishing the day an impressive 5-for-7 at the plate.๐พโพ๏ธ

Tough one today as the Panthers fell to the Cashtown Pirates 7-3.
Plenty of fight from the boys all game long and a lot to build on moving forward. The bats drove three runs across against some solid pitching from the Pirates while strong pitching performances from Brady Brathuhn and Evan Paul on the hump kept us in it until the end! ๐ช
Weโll regroup and get back after it Tuesday as we travel to Hanover, PA to take on the Hanover Hurricanes at 6:00 PM. ๐พโพ๏ธ
