We have a tournament this Saturday but we’re too excited to not post the first graphic about next week right now!!! Florida, the Canes are coming 🤩🧡💚

Yesterday was a special one. The ‘Canes fought hard all day and finished in 2nd place at the USFA World Series Warm Up in Picayune, MS.

In 3 seasons of Hurricanes 8U softball, yesterday was the hottest day we’ve ever endured. Mid-90’s temperatures coupled with high humidity reminiscent of the 2014 World Cup in Brazil and a dirt infield that resembled a slippery brown pool after a heavy mid-afternoon rainfall didn’t stop this group from taking down 2 very tough teams to earn our spot in the championship game! The bats were hot when we needed them but we were so incredibly proud of the defense this team played yesterday!!!

Congrats to Showtime 35 on their championship; an incredibly well coached, disciplined team that makes very few mistakes in the field and crushes the ball. You guys had a great day and we look forward to seeing you in Florida in 2 weeks!

We want to wish the very best of luck to our girls Kaysen, Brayah, Ella & T-Rex these next 2 weekends as they’re away from us playing for their local rec All-Star team, the Franklinton Fury! Congrats on making the Fury again girls and good luck; we’ll be watching when we can!!! 💙
