Manhattan Potato Festival Parade 2026!

2026 Potato Festival Parade – Softball Float

🥎 All 2026 Softball players are invited to join us on the softball float this year. For insurance purposes, riders/players must have been registered to play in 2026.

📆 When: Saturday, August 15th. Please have your player to the float no later than 10:30 am! The parade starts at 11 am. There will be coaches there from 9:00 am on, to get the float ready.

‼️‼️IMPORTANT!!! Parents must check in and sign the parade waiver when they drop off their player‼️‼️

📍 Where: The parade line up is on Culver Street (over by the little field). You may have to park and walk.

👕 Please have your players wear their softball shirt and bring a bag of candy, if you're able 🍬🍭

🥎 Thank You, Umpires! 🥎

This season, we had 17 students and parents attend our umpire training!! In a time where most areas are facing umpire shortages, we were incredibly fortunate to have enough young officials to provide two umpires at every game!

We are so grateful for the young adults who stepped up to serve our program. We had older softball players, track athletes, and baseball players helping ump this year! Their willingness to learn, lead, and give back to the game made a tremendous impact on our players and families.

Thank you, umpires, for your professionalism, fairness, and commitment throughout the season. We truly had some of the best umpires around, and we appreciate every one of you! 🧡🖤

Our coaches are the heart of Manhattan Youth Softball. These dedicated volunteers generously give their time to plan practices, create lineups, communicate with families, prepare for games, and invest in our players—much of it happening behind the scenes where no one sees it.

Thank you for your patience, leadership, and commitment to helping our girls learn, grow, build confidence, and love the game. We are grateful for each of you and the countless hours you dedicate to our program. We couldn't do this without you! 🧡🖤
