Spring is here and with it a new generation of manatees. Here we have a mother and her new calf, still nursing. Interestingly manatees actually lactate from a mammary gland right behind their front flippers, from our perspective almost like their armpits.

Love them of hate them Smarties have been around for 70+ years and are made with only about 6 ingredients.

Now personally I am way more excited for fried scallops. Grill them, fry them, wrap them in bacon, that would be the tasty treat I'm rooting for today.

On the list of more obscure holidays we celebrate the mister in the produce department that keeps everything looking fresh and from drying out. Now I want to know how long after they had become standard did they install the thunder sound effects right before they start spraying?
