Well, we have been busy up to and during the holiday. B posting some updates and pictures very soon. I will be back on the mini-x on January 1 to finish up major trail work on the C4 and Prickly Peddle route. We have been unable to assemble crews to work during the pandemic but great opportunities abound and the work is still getting done. Everyone NEEDS trails now more than ever. Happy New Year.
The Challenge begins soon - 1/3/2021. Cycle, hike, run, or do the equestrian thing - complete the Challenge from Cave Creek to Beardsley CSR. Complete it in one day or multiple days - but do it to support the Maricopa Trail.

Due to the continuing COVID 19 crisis, and after careful consideration, the MTPF Board has come to the conclusion that we would not be able to host the re-scheduled November 21 event in a way that will both garner support from our local officials and allow us to maintain our original mission of hosting a quality race experience. Ultimately, protecting the health and safety of the racers, as well as our community members. Stay tuned for 2021 event details coming over the next several months.
Just in case you missed the earlier notification - the event has been re-scheduled to NOVEMBER 21, 2020. Stay tuned for additional details! Thank you.

This is one example of how your support of the Prickly Pedal Race supports the Maricopa Trail. Trail signage, and ongoing maintenance. Race local.
Calling all Maricopa Trail users. We were asked about a month ago to review the Maricopa Trail signage within the west valley by the Maricopa Trail + Park Foundation. We are stewards of a mostly paved section, however many of us use the trail throughout the west valley. Your knowledge here is key.
We need your help as this is a large task. The trail traverses many portions of the west valley to include trails within the Estrella Mountain Regional Park, White Tank Mountain Regional Park, Goodyear city streets, sidewalks, and other areas.
We need to know if you come across signage in need of repair or completely missing. It is important that the trail is easy to locate and traverse. The signage is key to user safety as well.
If you come across areas with missing signs, or sections needing signage anywhere in the west valley please let us know via a post below or message.
Thank you for your help. #maricopatrail #estrellaregionalpark #whitetankregionalpark #supportyourlocaltrails #mtb #mtbaz #optoutside #mountainbiker
