Maricopa Monsoon 10u-Wilson

The girls played a great game this morning! Lucy and Loui led the pregame cheer but Monsoon 10u’s biggest fan/all around good boy, Moose got to lead the postgame cheer!

Monsoon 10u played two great games today! They fought through rising temperatures but still kept improving throughout the day!

Reminder about tryouts for Monsoon 10u tomorrow at Copper Sky field 4 at 6:00!

Practices are Tuesdays and Thursdays at Copper in Maricopa from 6:00-8:00. We have games every Saturday for the next few weeks in Tempe, then in May we’re going back to playing traditional tournaments so that will also include Sunday games.

Your daughter will have the opportunity to be a part of a group of girls who all love and support each other and work hard to accomplish their goals.

Maricopa Monsoon 10u (2014 or 2015) is looking for 2-3 players to join our squad! Low monthly dues, Tue/Thurs practices, any position considered- catcher is a plus with immediate game time. ⛈️

Happy birthday to our favorite #4, Skye!

The Monsoon 10u girls had quite a weekend! They played a makeup night game on Friday then two games Saturday morning. We started slow Saturday morning then suddenly came alive scoring 12 runs in the final inning to come back and win! The second Saturday game wasn’t close. They maintained the momentum of from the final inning of the first game and never looked back! Every single player contributed today in an impactful way!

Jae pitched a near shutout!

Ariella made a great tag to get a runner out when a girl dared to steal second with Bella catching!

Aria, Lucy, and Skye’s savy base running forced mistakes out of the other team!

Leira’s relief pitching got us close in the first game!

Loui tied the first game with a two run home run!

Jax made a great defensive play them threw the girl out at first and Eliana was there to make a great catch (one of many) to get the out.

Oh, and they all hit the ball!

All us coaches and parents are very proud of how they played this weekend and can’t wait to see what they do next!

It’s her birthday and she hit a home run! Sounds like a good day to me!

Another great Saturday for Monsoon 10u! The girls got two convincing wins on their first weekend of Ladyhawks!

Big day for softball in Maricopa!

A year ago, 10u club softball teams didn’t exist in town but today two teams braved driving the 347 to play each other in a 10u tournament in Glendale! It was our first meeting and I guarantee it won’t be our last because or was a great game!

Great job to all the Desert Reapers/Maricopa Monsoon players, coaches, and parents for making this a possibility for the girls in our town!
