Let’s Goooo!!! History Made!!

Congratulations to freshmen Mason Bennett and Charlee Welge for being named to the 2026 GHSA Area 2 All-Area Team for their performance this season. Both played at the No. 1 seed for MBCA throughout the season and played as the top seed for the Eagles at the Area 2 Tournament on Monday. Bennett came up one stroke short and finished second for the at-large State Tournament birth and took home fifth overall. Welge finished second as well for the at-large slot for State on the ladies side and finished eighth overall. Their tremendous performance as freshmen helped pace the boys to a fifth-place team finish and the girls to a sixth-place finish. Bennett is our second guy to earn GHSA All-Area honors. Welge is our Second lady to earn All-Area honors as well. Congratulations on a fantastic first varsity golf season!
