Armor Elite 2032 - Vermaak

First tournament together is in the books! 🥎🔥

We jumped right into the fire at the PGF Georgia Fall State, facing some of the toughest competition in the area, and this group showed us SO much to be excited about.

Our offense came ready to compete, we had some BIG-time moments defensively, and every single player on this roster made an impact. There’s a lot to be proud of after this weekend, and even more to look forward to.

We’re just getting started, and we’re excited to keep building on this foundation, growing together, and seeing what this group is capable of. The potential is there. Now we get back to work. 💪🏻

All the time, we see raffles and posts asking for business sponsorships or donations for our teams and players. This one is a bit different.

Please consider donating to one of our Armor Elite families who needs our support.

We are praying for the Scarbrough family 💛

Shoutout to our #88 Ava McCormick!

A special end to the metro season for Ava. She was voted Hardest Working Player by her coaches — recognizing the effort and dedication she brings every time she steps on the field.

Then, her teammates chose her as Best Teammate — a reflection of the encouragement, energy, and support she brings to the girls around her. 💛

Two incredible honors that capture exactly who Ava is as a player and as a teammate. We’re so proud of you, Ava!

🚨 COACHING STAFF ADDITION 🚨

We’re excited to officially welcome Taylor Yates to the Armor Elite 2032 – Vermaak coaching staff as our Pitching Coach + Assistant Coach! 🥎

Taylor brings 13 years of experience in the circle, including her time as an NCAA pitcher and NCAA Coach’s Award recipient. She’s spent the last 5 years coaching at the travel + high school levels and currently works with pitchers across the country through Triple Play Academy — from beginners all the way through the college level.

She holds a Master’s in Sport Administration, is Rapsodo certified, and is currently finishing her strength & conditioning certification.

But what we’re most excited about is how Taylor coaches.

She believes pitchers should understand the “why” behind what they’re doing so they can take ownership of their development and build confidence without needing someone standing beside them every pitch.

And when it comes to our team, she believes every arm has a role, every role matters, and pitchers develop fastest when they push each other.

That philosophy fits exactly what we want to build with this group. We’re so excited to have Taylor bringing her knowledge, experience, and energy to Armor Elite.

Welcome to the family, Taylor! 💛🖤
