The Luke Project includes summer camp and leadership development supporting underserved children age 7-14 living in Southwest Cobb and West Atlanta.

We are honored God’s favor has been on us as we serve in the name of Jesus Christ We accomplish our mission through five strategic programs designed to enable urban kids to discover God’s plan for their life, have fun and develop their character as they learn to serve, give and take personal responsibility for their life. LukeSports operates a sports league offering flag football, cheerleading, basketball and soccer for Charter Schools in Atlanta. LukeSports is an incentive-based tool to enhance the student’s academic performance while developing teamwork and building character and athletic skills. LukePrep provides students with critical life, educational and Biblical literacy skills in an exciting and relevant format. The curriculum includes classes such as leadership development civics and art, as well as a variety of electives that include swim lessons, job exploration, budgeting and community service days. LukeCamp is a nine‐week Summer Day Camp that provides tutoring, opportunities to earn field trips, Bible study, and fun culminating in a weeklong overnight camp held in the North Georgia Mountains. Activities include mountain biking, kayaking, swimming and Bible study. LukeCoach links urban youth with an adult life coach to help them turn obstacles into stepping stones of success. LukeAlumni connects former program participants with current staff, volunteers and mentors providing encouragement, prayer and coaching.

LukeCamp, a 9 week summer day camp serving Southwest Cobb and West Atlanta, develops meaningful relationships with underserved children age 7-14. Relationship equals influence and we foster this through team building games, fun activities, field trips to new destinations each day and small group discussions themed around life principles and virtues found in scripture. LukeCamp - Week 10 is a reward trip for campers age 10+ who have earned the overnight trip to Big Canoe, GA. Campers who demonstrate excellent behavior, complete their daily assignments, participate in one community service project and attend day camp are eligible. LukeCamp Ministry Model - 365 LukeCamp does not utilize a traditional brick and mortar building. We hire and train amazing staff and then go and serve in underserved communities without the restrictions of being tied to one location. We meet for breakfast each morning with the campers and then we depart on our field trip for the day with adventure based hands on learning themed around a virtue, with a WOW environment where kids have a ton of fun. LukeCamp creates opportunities to meet new people and experience different parts of the city. Activities include biking, job exploration, museum tours, community service, hiking, basic life skill classes, visiting parks, budget planning, a week-long overnight trip, crafts, pottery painting, Braves game, a tour of Dobbins Air Force base and more. When campers return to school, they can access $0 cost tutoring as well as special enrichment trips that are scheduled when breaks in the school calendar occur. Note: Summer Day Camp - $185 covers 3 children for an entire summer.
