SENIOR OF THE WEEK: Lillie is set to graduate with honor from Walton High School this spring. In the fall, she will attend the College of Charleston working toward a degree in Commercial Real Estate. She has been dancing since she was eight and has spent the last six years as a member of the Company. Beyond the studio, she is involved at school, singing in the Varsity Women’s Choir as part of her high school chorus program and participates in several organizations, including the Random Acts of Kindness Club and the Tri-M Music Honors Society. At dance, she serves as a student assistant, finding it incredibly rewarding to watch young dancers discover the same love for dance that first inspired her. She is also involved in her church, has worked at a cotillion and at a local Pilates studio. Lillie would like to give a special thank you to her parents, for always being her #1 supporters and the best dance partners she could ask for, and also to her teachers for always pushing her to be a stronger dancer. She is truly grateful for her years with the company, for all she has learned through dance, and for the meaningful friendships she has made along the way. We are so proud of Lillie and can’t wait to see all that she accomplishes!

SENIOR OF THE WEEK: Mary is a full-time dual enrollment student at Kennesaw State University. She plans to study genetics at the University of Georgia in the fall. She aspires to become a genetic counselor. She has been dancing since she was three and has been with the Dance Stop Company for four years. Outside of school and dance Mary enjoys working as a barista at Scooter’s Coffee. She also works in the nursery at her church and helps teach Sunday school classes. She has also enjoyed volunteering at a church preschool as a teacher’s assistant. Mary will always cherish the fun memories from her time at Dance Stop and will miss everyone greatly. We are so proud of Mary and can’t wait to see all that she accomplishes.
