The Walton Gymnastics Team enjoyed their End of Season Awards Banquet on Wednesday evening. A big thanks to our team mom Jennifer Katz for planning a spectacular and heartfelt event to close out a wonderful gymnastics season! Another big thank you to Coach Merlin and Coach Facer for being such positive, supportive and fun coaches.

Every member of the team earned a Varsity letter and five members earned additional Scholar Athlete Awards (only junior and senior student athletes are eligible). The M.V.P. Award was voted on by team members and awarded to Abby Dunham. Mia Passarella received the Team Spirit Award and Laurel Williams received the Coaches Award.

Good luck to our four Seniors who head off to college in a few short months! And best wishes to Mia as she continues in the sport and joins the UWO Gymnastics team in college.

Congratulations to Walton Gymnastics! The girls stayed undefeated in their regular season meets and finished in the top 8 at State. Senior Abby Dunham also placed in the top 8 in the individual events. A great ending to the season!

Updated rankings for 6A/7A and Walton is holding strong!

5 for 5 - Walton Gymnastics ends their undefeated regular season this evening at Lovett where both our Varsity (108.10) and JV teams brought home 1st place finishes!!! 🥇 🥇

Freshman Brooke Leslie was 1st place All Around Champion and Senior Abby Dunham landed as 3rd place All Around Champion.

The girls did fantastic and had so much fun too. Big thanks to Coach Amy Merlin and Coach Cathy Facer for an awesome season.

Last regular season meet TODAY at Lovett. Both JV and Varsity teams will be competing and a few new routines will be shown too!
See you at 4:00 pm today before the Lady Raiders begin preparing for Prelims and States in a few weeks.

Week 3 GHSA Rankings are in and Walton Gymnastics is holding STRONG in 3rd place!!! The Lady Raiders are currently undefeated with 4 wins and close out their regular meet season on Monday, March 27th at The Lovett School. Mark your calendars to come out to cheer on the Walton Gymnastics Team and help them clench a 5th W! More details on GHSA Prelims and State will be provided in April.

Walton Varsity Gymnastics Team is unstoppable! Four meets, four W’s! The Lady Raiders picked up their 4th win this past Friday evening, March 17th against Milton, Roswell and Cambridge.

One more regular season meet on 3/27 at The Lovett School and then we should be state-bound!
