Alumni Regatta on Saturday was a blast! Thanks so much to everyone who came and helped make the event possible. As mentioned, the team is currently fundraising via a Spark campaign. UCLA SAILING TEAM 2025 ALUMNI REGATTA NOTICE OF RACE
Saturday, May 17, 2025
LOCATION:
UCLA Marina Aquatic Center (14001 Fiji Way, Marina del Rey, CA)
FORMAT:
As with years past, we will run open rotation fleet races early in the day to determine teams for evenly-matched team racing in the afternoon. Courses will depend on conditions and participation.
ENTRIES:
All are welcome. Please RSVP using Facebook or this Google Form: https://forms.gle/cyhzGaEiaXUaocj17
We call this the “alumni regatta” mostly out of tradition - we would love to see parents and other friends of the team racing too!
ENTRY FEE:
FOUST and current team members: no charge
All others: $15 at the door

1100: First Start
All day: Food, Beverages, and Good Times
Last Race: TBD
AFTER RACING:
FOUST Meeting and Election (at the MAC)
Post-Sailing Festivities!
LODGING & TRANSPORTATION:
If you would like to share a ride from a major California city, or need a place to stay, post in the Facebook event or contact FOUST and we’ll see what we can do.
RULES:
This regatta will be governed by the rules in the Racing Rules of Sailing.

Thanks to everyone who came out for the Alumni Regatta last weekend! Congrats to Laura Roudebush for the best average finish in fleet racing and to the Garrett/Lyzz/Maddy team for winning the team race portion of the day with an undefeated record.

Bruins end the Spring season at PCC Championships - UCLA Club Sports
The weekend of April 27-28, UCLA Sailing competed in PCC co-ed championships in Long Beach. Sailors sailed in the outer Long Beach harbor and rotated off the beach at the Claremont launch ramp. 13 teams competed from the Pacific Coast Conference. On Saturday, conditions started out light but quickly...
