A community that encourages and promotes one another to be our most powerful version. My name is Thomas! It was once said “What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; that there is nothing new under the sun”. I lost myself in seeking out those things that weren’t new, but were just new to me! I fell for anything external that would fill the hole inside. Any thing external that made me feel “a part of” was always at the top of my list. Then, all those external things began to stop working for me, at the end of the day I was left with me. As a result I had to find stronger external solutions to quiet or feed the every widening hole that was within me. Those solutions got more and more expensive to acquire which made me lower the “what I wouldn’t do” bar even more so to keep me feeling a part of, but also really kept me in perpeptual darkness. Today, I am grateful for that part of my journey. Without that part of my life, I don’t think I would know life as I know it today. By applying basic universal principals and taking advantage of the bountiful earch around me, I have been able to develop a challenging and enlightening path to wellbeing and physical fitness. Please join me on this journey of growth and expression as we explore and lean why the Earth is Our Gym!

Today I was invited by my buddy J. Clint to check his training spot BoxNShed owned by @jozknowz I met an Animal Flow trainer, a speed trainer, and some talented OG’s who ROCK THE FITNESS JOURNEY! I found incredible inspiration at that spot from Coaches Jerry and Christine @monkeybarzfit, John Clint and of course @jozknowz. They even introduced me to my first tire flip work out. How I chose my tools for transformation was born from a hitting a bottom. A bottom for me was a place where I decided enough is enough. I was too chicken sh*t to commit the ultimate sacrifice of suicide, thank God, and willing to take a look at me. It was once said that our creator thought the best place to hide something from his creation was to place inside of them. Only the bravest would venture there.

Upon awakening, I take 20 minutes to feed positive directions to my cells

I am 57 and counting. I have never been here before. In this "here" people know me as physically gifted. I thank them for the acknowledgment. However, I am much more than that. So are you. My goal is to pass on what I have learned regarding this physical fitness dimension and to absorb the teachings from those who have mastered other dimensions of wellness. (Spiritual, Intellectual, Social, Occupational, Financial and Emotional)

Upper body workout builds a sort of confidence. Like a quick pump before the night out. However, we all know that the magic happens when one works to build from the foundation up and the inside out.

Getting into the weekend with an upper body flow on the beach. Going to the beach gets me out of my element. I get to feel the sand on my feet (exfoliate too) while allowing the earths energy to heal my body. Not only that, I get to throw around weight. Yes!!

It's simple. Take time now or be forced to later. I knock out two birds with one stone when I work out barefoot on the beach. Its called the ”Grounding Effect. This vid was all about that Upper Body Flow. It says 2 minutes but I got after it way harder and longer. 5 minutes of upper bodywork.

My proudest moments occur when I click with another human being at a level that creates change. The change that morphs into a style of living. Gabi is moving to New Orleans to begin another chapter. My goal is to provide her with a series of movements that can be executed 5, 7 to 10 minutes at a time. Today's flow was lower body.

HOW it began...

How It all began for me…

There are no regrets. No rights or wrongs. Everything that has occurred in my life delivered me to this moment. This now. It all began with understanding these three words: Honesty, Open-mindedness, and Willingness. Three words which I never grasped as a lifestyle. I thought they were character qualities I could choose and use to manipulate a situation to gain something or avoid losing something. However, I learned that they are so much more than that. My H.O.W. today is Honesty, Open-mindedness, and Willingness.

Dr. Wayne Dyer, an American self-help author and a motivational speaker, once compared life’s challenges to squeezing an orange. You can squeeze an orange at any time of the day and still get orange juice. But what happens when life squeezes you? What comes out?
