In this one-day course, learn the ins-and-outs of sailing and handling multihulls. Instruction covers powering, docking, setting and trimming sails, and all of the particulars of catamaran sailing. Prerequisites are ASA 101, 103 and 104.

This three-day course covers the advanced skills essential for cruising and will qualify you to charter boats at amazing sailing destinations worldwide. Topics include boat systems, navigation, anchoring, cruising techniques, and more.

Help Wanted: Dock Hand
Marina del Rey & Channel Islands (Oxnard) locations

Job Duties:
• Perform light maintenance on sailboats to ensure they’re shipshape, including driving boats to pump-out and fuel stations
• Conduct pre-rental and post-rental inspections to ensure safety and cleanliness
• Assist with customer checkouts, including basic instructions and safety briefings
• Secure boats to docks, handle lines, and assist with docking as needed
• Keep dock areas clean, organized, and safe for customers and crew

Qualifications:
• Basic knowledge of boats and boating safety; experience with sailboats preferred
• Comfortable working outdoors in a marine environment
• Physically able to handle light lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and great with customer service

Schedule:
Thursday through Monday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Compensation:
Based on experience
