We’re thrilled to welcome over 30 returning cheerleaders who are ready to build on the tradition they’ve helped create, along with so many talented new faces joining our cheer family for the very first time. We can’t wait to watch each of these girls learn, grow, and shine throughout the season!

🏆 With 13+ combined West Kentucky Jr. Pro Jamboree Championships throughout our program’s history—and both of our squads entering the season as the reigning 2025 Jamboree Champions—our goal remains the same: to work hard, support one another, and proudly represent Crittenden County with excellence, sportsmanship, and heart.

Please help us welcome our 2026 3rd & 4th Grade and 5th & 6th Grade cheer squads, and join us in wishing them an amazing season ahead! 📣✨

What a wonderful experience and a greatly organized pageant!

Pageants aren’t just about “looks”, it’s about building confidence, community, and cheering on young girls to fully embrace who they are! ✨

🏈 Know Before You Go: Jr. Pro Rule of the Week 🏈

This week’s post is about: League Commissioners
Every good league needs people behind the scenes helping things run smoothly.

For Western Kentucky Jr. Pro Football, Cheer & Dance, the league commissioner is Jay Thompson.
Jay has been officiating sports since he was 18 years old, and football is definitely one of his favorites. 🏈
Jay has a passion for the game, but more than that, he wants kids to fall in love with football too.
That’s why when you see Jay on the field, he may not just be officiating.

He may be:

Teaching the game.

Explaining the rules.

Encouraging the players.

Helping kids understand what they can do better.

Lifting them up when they need it.

Jr. Pro football is not just about wins and losses.
It is about learning the game, building confidence, and helping kids grow.

Jay serves as the commissioner for the full league, but each county also has its own commissioner.

Crittenden County: Austin Berry
Trigg County: Jeff Hunter
Union County: Cory Nesbitt
Webster County: Brent Stewart

So if you have a question, concern, or problem during the season, please start with your own county commissioner first.

They are there to help their county’s players, parents, coaches, cheerleaders, dancers, and families.
Working together helps keep the season smoother for everyone.

🏈 Know Before You Go: Jr. Pro Rule of the Week 🏈

This week’s rule is about: What Happens Outside the Lines

Football season is not just about what happens on the field.

It is also about what happens around the field.
The cheerleaders bring energy to the game.
The dance teams make halftime fun.
The fans create the game-day feeling our kids remember.

Everyone has an important part to play, and everyone has a place to be so game day can run safely and smoothly.

The sidelines are busy.

Players are moving.

Coaches are coaching.

Officials are watching the game.

Cheerleaders are pepping everyone up.

Dancers are waiting for their time to perform.
Keeping the sidelines clear helps protect the kids and keeps the game organized.
Fans should stay in the proper spectator areas.

Please do not stand on the field, near the team areas, or along the sidelines where players, coaches, cheerleaders, dancers, and officials need room.
Cheer loud. Support everyone. Enjoy halftime.
But unless you are supposed to be on the field or sideline, please stay in the fan areas.
Game day is better when everyone knows where to be and works together.
