Update: Kael didn’t make the dance. The track was terrible. Couldn’t see anything. He did the best he could do with the situation he was handed. Thanks everyone for the support!!!!

A feature today!!! Kael is starting in 6th position. Top 8 go on to the Big Dance on Saturday!!!! Drive fast, drive hard, and drive smart Kael. You got this!!!

The rest of the races got cancelled for today due to the rain. “A” feature will be held tomorrow before 1:00 when Wednesdays scheduled show is to begin. Kael drew number 6 to start in the 6th position in the feature tomorrow. We will check back in tomorrow before the race! Get some sleep and rest up Kael!!

Qualifying Day 1! After all of the rain last night the start time for the races have been moved back. Once they get the track prepped we will be ready to roll!!

Sorry for the late post, but here’s the weekend update!
Friday ran Motown and won the heat race then had some trouble in the feature and decided to pull off to save the car for Super Nats.
Saturday we went to Boone for the Watermelon Classic and had great racing! Won the heat race, again, (and a watermelon lol) and fought back and forth in the feature for 5th place. In the end we finished 7th. Had a lot of fun and will now be taking the rest of the week off to work on the car and make some minor changes to prepare for Super Nats.
After Super Nationals there will still be plenty of fall shows we will be racing so stay tuned for updates and/or locations to come and watch!

Boone recap from Saturday, August 22nd:

In the qualifying race, started 6th and ended up 4th securing a spot in the feature. (Top 6 transferred)
In the feature the car felt good and the track was just the way I like it. Started 22nd and advanced 12 spots to finish 10th.
A big thank you to Briar Kriegel for taking the trailer to Boone and getting everything set up while I was in a golf tournament.
Will race again Friday in Marshalltown to be sure the car is set the way I want it for Super Nationals. Come out and watch! That will be my last race before Super Nats.

Heat race started 4th and finished 6th. Then ran the A feature and started 17th. Ran up 8 spots finishing 9th. Still trying to get the car dialed in so headed to Dubuque tonight to get some more seat time in. Gotta get this car all dialed in for Super Nats!
