🥎 Six short weeks. One team. Plenty to be proud of.

These girls came together from different teams, having never played together as a group, and earned a spot in the Gold Bracket among the top 16 feeder teams in St. Louis and St. Charles!

The coaching staff is proud of what they accomplished and how far they came. Through our 11 games before the tournament:

🔥 93 runs scored
🔥 .374 team batting average
🔥 .559 on-base percentage
🔥 1.082 team OPS
🔥 15 extra-base hits and 53 walks

💪 Our pitching staff recorded 68 strikeouts in 38⅔ innings, holding opponents to a .240 batting average. Thank you to Hayden, Courtnei, Faith Shelton, Taliyah, Charley, and Brooklyn for their work in the circle, and Jemma, Faith Lovett, and Vivi for their work behind the plate!

💚 Every Pirate contributed:

🥎 Taliyah: .583 average, 1.667 OPS, two triples, and 10 runs scored. Allowed just two hits in five innings pitching!

🥎 Faith Shelton: .571 average, two doubles, 10 runs scored, and 18 strikeouts in eight innings!

🥎 Adiya: .533 average, a triple, a home run, and a team-leading 10 RBIs—six coming with two outs!

🥎 Charley: .500 average and a .600 on-base percentage!

🥎 Faith Lovett: .500 average and a team-leading .706 on-base percentage, contributing at catcher and first base!

🥎 Jemma: .455 average, .625 on-base percentage, and 13 innings behind the plate!

🥎 Courtnei: .667 on-base percentage, six RBIs, and 18 strikeouts against just six walks in 7⅓ innings!

🥎 Cy’Lee: A home run, four RBIs, and a 1.267 OPS while contributing at multiple defensive positions!

🥎 Vivi: .667 average with runners in scoring position, two two-out RBIs, and a team-leading 14⅓ innings catching!

🥎 Sophia: Four hits, including a double, and seven runs scored while contributing at second base and in left field!

🥎 Camille: .643 on-base percentage, tied for the team lead with seven walks, and led the team in quality-at-bat percentage!

🥎 Brooklyn: A double and five runs scored while contributing at second base and in the outfield!

🥎 Hayden: Led the pitching staff with 17 innings, 22 strikeouts, and four pitching wins. Recorded seven innings without allowing a walk!

🥎 Justice: .400 on-base percentage and four plate appearances lasting six pitches or more, making opposing pitchers work!

🥎 Mariah: .538 on-base percentage, five walks, and five runs scored—proof that contributions go well beyond batting average!

There were wins in the losses, too: lessons learned, experience gained, and opportunities to grow. The final score can’t capture everything these girls built together.

Thank you to our players, families, and coaches for making this season possible. 💚🖤

🏴‍☠️ PROUD OF THESE JR. PIRATES 🥎

Our fall season came to an end with an 8–4 loss to Lafayette Gold in the opening round of the Gold Bracket.

Of course, we wanted to keep playing. We were one difficult defensive inning away from advancing to the quarterfinals, and defense proved to be the difference again. All eight runs were unearned—a tough reminder that against strong teams, every routine play and every out matters.

But today’s loss does not take away from what these girls accomplished.

This was a group that had never played together before. In only six short weeks, they grew into a team that earned a place in the Gold Bracket—among the top 16 feeder teams across St. Louis and St. Charles counties.

Courtnei gave us everything in the circle, striking out nine without issuing a walk. Adiya drove in two runs, and Faith L., Vivi, Sophia and Adiya each collected a hit. The girls competed until the final out.

The coaching staff could not be prouder of their growth, effort and willingness to keep learning. We know exactly where we must improve—but we also know how far this team has already come.

We ain’t what we used to be.

🏴‍☠️ Final fall record: 7–4–1
💚 One Team. One Future.

🏴‍☠️ SUNDAY RECAP (Final Regular Season Games) | JR. PIRATES GO 1–1 🥎

The Pattonville Jr. Pirates opened the day with a 7–2 victory over the Wildcats before falling 9–6 to the Jr. Rams.

🔥 Game 1 highlights

Taliyah earned the win with a strong performance in the circle, allowing zero earned runs over two innings while striking out four. Adiya drove in two runs, while Faith L. and Viviana each delivered RBI singles during a five-run third inning.

💚 Game 2 recap

The Pirates came out swinging and built a 6–1 lead, highlighted by Courtnei’s two-run double and RBI hits from Cy’Lee and Taliyah.

But defensively, the Pirates simply did not show up. Six of the nine runs allowed were unearned, and the Jr. Rams took advantage of our mistakes to complete the comeback. Hayden battled through 3⅔ innings, striking out six while allowing only three earned runs.

The Pirates finished 1–1 on the day, scoring 13 runs, and close the fall regular season with a 7–3–1 record.

There were plenty of positives this season, but also a clear lesson from today: talent can build a lead, but defense and ex*****on are what finish games.

One Team. One Future.
