Please also welcome Marshmallow and Yams. This sweet pair is a mother and mule son who also started training Wednesday. The mother, Yams, is blind but gets around quite well and is super sweet. Marshmallow is very friendly but needs a little help with his manners. I believe these two will make a great addition to any farm after they brush up on their skills. I am looking forward to seeing them grow this month.

We are happy to welcome Cotton to the farm. Cotton is a miniature mule from Faith N Friends Rescue that came in Wednesday for training. He is curious but fearful of people. I am looking forward to teaching him to trust and setting him up for success in his future home.

Say hello to Cotton! Cotton recently returned to Faith N Friends after he was found for sale at an area auction! At Faith N Friends, we take our responsibilities to the horses seriously and our commitment is for their lifetime. Our contract states that should an adopter, for any reason, find themselves unable to care for their adopted equine, they are to return the horse to Faith N Friends.
Thankfully, Cotton is back with us and getting some "continuing education." Watch for him to get the "all clear" from Hannah! For more on Cotton's story, check out his page here: http://ow.ly/7cB050D3tV7
*edited to clarify: While we were attempting to get an update on Cotton, a volunteer saw him listed for the Auction site on a Craigslist ad. Faith, our head volunteer in charge, bought him out of pocket and donated him back to Faith N Friends, where he belongs. Now, to get this feisty boy a π»πΉπΌπ¬ forever home!

We are excited to announce that Maxwell has been adopted! Maxwell was with me since April (the first two months for training and the last bit as a foster). He started out untouchable but soon became a lovable cuddle bug. I will miss having this sweet boy around but am so happy he has found such a great home. I wish you all the best little buddy!

Gigi came in for training on Wednesday and has already been such a joy to work with. She settled in quickly and is showing herself to be a really sweet, willing mare. She is a little rusty when it comes to riding but is already making progress. I am going to really enjoy helping this little girl get back her old skill and cannot wait to see what all she can do!
πβοΈπ₯Look at this new beauty! GiGi's just recently arrived at Faith N Friends with her dam.
Gigi is a 14 year old registered Arabian mare, βPersuit Of Gold RSAβ . She is currently in training with Hannah! It's been a little while since this redhead was under saddle, so she needs a bit of practice. We're sure Hannah will put her through her paces! For more on GiGi, check out her page here: https://faithnfriends.org/gigi-2/ βοΈβοΈπ

I would like to introduce Josie. Josie is a rescue from a hoarding case (the same as Janie and Jody) and came in today for training. She is afraid but trying hard and is already making progress. I am looking forward to watching this girl grow and learn to trust.

I got a little help the other day in getting Joli the ambassador mini ready for pony parties and other events. She is doing great! She is sure to be popular with the kids and she loves her job!
Joli and the Children Having a Party! Joli and Hannah meet the little ones and make some noise! The children are having a blast and Joli's not even a little fazed. Bring on the small ones and let...
I have been working on some pre-driving training with Joli, one of the minis in training currently. Pool noodles are great for desensitizing. Joli is doing really well and is progressing quickly.
Janie is making progress quickly. She let me put on her halter in the first 24 hours and is now learning to lead. I am excited to see how she progresses in the next few weeks.
*Janie is in training along with Jodie and both were rescued from a hoarding case where they were starved and had no previous handling. They are also both pregnant.

Yesterday Hibiscass the donkey completed training and went back to the rescue before heading to her new home later this week. We also welcomed in two new little ones. These poor things were rescued from a hoarding case and now are safe and starting to gain weight but have very little exposure to humans and need to learn to trust. These two have a long way to go, but I think they will do well.

I would like to introduce my Honorary Assistant Trainer, Molly the chicken. Her duties include janitorial work and desensitizing. She is always ready and eager to do her job and is the first one to work every day.
Also featured is Sage, a 12 year old Arab cross mare I am doing some touch-up riding training with for the family who owns the farm I am based at.
Sammy's trick training is coming along well. Today we worked on bowing without a pointer as a mark.
