We would like to introduce the newest member to the Legacy organization. As the 15U baseball coach, please welcome Coach Kevin Woods.

Kevin has over 34 years of coaching experience, he has dedicated his life to developing athletes and building strong programs across both travel ball and high school baseball. He has coached with respected travel organizations including Fire, Thunder, and Diamond, and has led teams at the high school level for Powell High School, FBA, Knox Christian, and South Doyle.

A former player himself, Kevin competed in high school baseball at South-Young before continuing his career at Cooper College, where he further honed his love for the game. His coaching philosophy blends discipline, fundamentals, and mentorship, helping young athletes grow both on and off the field. Over the years, several of Kevin’s players have gone on to play college baseball, with alumni competing at programs such as ETSU, Davidson, Spalding, Virginia Tech, Roane State, and Johnson Bible College, among others.

Beyond baseball, Kevin is a proud father of four children—Joshua (37), Whitney (33), Bryce (29), and Jace (19)—and grandfather to five: Ainsley (16), Story (8), Brexton (7), Theo (5), and Finn (1). Raising his children has been his greatest accomplishment and source of pride.

In addition to his coaching career, Kevin is an entrepreneur, owning and operating a successful mold testing and remediation company, where he applies the same values of hard work and integrity that define his coaching.

Legacy Baseball and Softball Club, Inc. is seeking sponsorship for the upcoming 2025/2026 season. As a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, all of our staff members are dedicated volunteers. Our mission is to support young athletes in the East Tennessee area by providing them with opportunities to participate in our programs.

Sponsorships are essential to help offset player costs and administrative needs. This support allows us to continue offering quality training and experiences to youth in our community, regardless of their financial background.
