The Rotary Club of Chicago Heights-Park Forest is pleased to recognize Bloom Township High School Graduate Arely Esquivel with a Rotary High School Scholarship for the 2025-2026 school year!

Arely was just 17 when she received her CNA certification. Arely was not only the youngest in her class but also the only one who could speak Spanish.

Becoming a certified nursing assistant reshaped Arely’s understanding of life, empathy and maturity. Growing up in a Spanish speaking household, Arely was the one tasked with taking calls, managing appointments and deal with insurance. Translating to her mother during doctor visits showed Arely how important it is to have someone who advocates for you in healthcare.

Congratulations to Arely!! Bloom Township High School District 206
