It’s a Happy Hour Halloween Saturday night! Drink specials start at 7pm to close. $2 domestics and rail tubs, $2 fireball shots and $3 Jager and Cherry bombs. We also have $1 off any chicken dinner. Race recap 8/20 Golden Sands Speedway: practice was good being it was soo hot today. Qualifying went well qualifying 9th. Today we were only running (2) 30 lap features with no heat races. In the first feature starting in the 9th position and the car raced well but finished in the same spot 9th. The 2nd feature a few changes were made and also starting in the 9th position, the car started out good but became really loose and lost a couple of spots ending up 11th. Overall we had a good day at Golden Sands Speedway. Have to thank my pit crew today also April, Mom and Dad, and special thanks to Tyler Custer for helping out spotting today. Thanks to the CWRA series and Cody Smiley for a great show. Next race is at Dells Raceway Park this Saturday with the CWRA again.

Friday Golden Sands recap: The night started off struggling again with an electrical problem that arose again, after searching we finally found the broken wire. We got it fixed during qualifying and was able to get 2 laps of qualifying posting 13th in time. The heat race was a lot better starting 4th and raced up to the 2nd place finish. A few adjustments were made for the feature and started 12th and raced up to 10th but with 2 laps to go lost 2 positions and ended up 12th.
