9/6 Slinger Super Speedway Update

Qualifying 11th out of 16 cars.

Heat race started 5th finished 6th

Feature we started 11th and finished 8th

It was a long day trying to get the car dialed in because last year's notes didn't mean much with the tire change, but every time we went on the track, the car was better; in the feature, we had brake bias issues which caused too much front brake, so I was slowly losing pedal the whole race until, with about 15 to go, I had absolutely no pedal, and for some reason, with 10 to go, I lost all power steering, so we have a bunch to fix and look into before our next race at Fest; thanks to my crew, fans, and sponsors, this has been a fun year, and I can't believe it's almost over.

8/14 Madison International Speedway Update

Qualifying and one of the two features were canceled because of rain, so they lined up the feature by points average for the year.

Feature: We started 7th, but with how the lineup played out, we fell to 9th by the middle of the backstretch. We worked our way up through the field and finished 4th out of 15 cars.

We missed the first two nights, but we still ended up 11th in points and had the 5th best point average. To my knowledge, it was a fun year with lots of hard racing, but also very clean when it came to how I was raced. I believe respect is one of the most important things in racing, and with racing 9 features and only coming away with a couple of tire marks, it shows that everyone raced me how I raced them. Our next race is 9/6 at Slinger Super Speedway on Labor Day weekend.

UARA Update

Friday night, we drew for the qualifying lineup and drew 12th.

Saturday, we started the day with two and a half hours of practice total. We used it all and didn't figure the car out until about two hours and twenty-five minutes in.

We went out in qualifying, and to our surprise, we qualified 12th out of 18.

In the feature, we started 12th. The car was really tight, and we fell back to 15th. We had a caution with 108 laps to go, and then it started to rain. After the track was dry, we were able to reset tire pressures, which I wasn't allowed to know (my team chose the pressures for me, but they told me it would help). We restarted 15th, and after running 108 non-stop green flag laps, we drove up and finished 12th. What a day! I absolutely love going to war with my crew against these bigger teams with my little operation. We never give up, and it shows.

Its our favorite day of the week... RACE DAY! We're here at Golden Sands Speedway for the UARA National Carbliss 125 presented by Gandrud Performance Parts and McCain.
