Disclaimer: Operating a jet boat at night should only be attempted by very experienced drivers who have the proper equipment including a bad ass PlashLights 30” 26k lumen light bar mounted correctly & recently well maintenanced boat to assure every thing is working properly before launch. The only reason we’re dumb enough to do this section at night is because we’ve done it for 20+ years & we know it well at all river flows. 👍

Connie Belle had a bad day! Started with the engine quitting at the top of Chitum (going up) & had to float back down backwards through that rapid which was pretty scary for boat occupants! Got her to shore with the help of a fellow jet boater, tied her up, checked her out & couldn’t fix her so left her & went up river to enjoy the rest of the afternoon. Came back to her sunk on the shoreline, pumped for hours then realized a plug got knocked loose! Maybe going backwards in turbulent rapid? 🙄 Finally in the evening we got her back on the trailer.

Who’d take their mate on this prime steak dinner date by jet boat on the river?

Had to skip from beach to beach for the sunset but the smoker & electric generator kept the steaks & corn a smoke’n while we kept roll’n! And grass fed butter, garden grown rosemary, fine red wine, mirror reflection on the water with a little reggae music at sunset made it pretty amazing.
