Once again victory lane was not in the cards. We were fast qualifier and won our heat with authority. As history repeats itself Ayrton Houk Racing magnetic attraction to the 6 pill was not to be denied and we started 6 in the main. After 2 of the worst starts restart I witnessed in my career, we were off and moving forward. After a few short laps, we were running for 3 until we weren’t. With only 45 laps left in a 50 laps race, and racing for P3, we were put into the wall on a straightaway. This crushed our Jacob’s ladder and bent the front axle. But Ace never quit. Despite the damage and falling back to 7th at the third restart in almost as many laps, he put his head down adapting to the new car and brought back a 4th place finish!!! The finish position sucks however the character of our pilot shined through and we couldn’t be more proud of our pilot. Congrats to Issac Johnson for the win! This unfortunate situation will most likely end our championship efforts but I hear he’s working on big things at Indianapolis Motor Speedway soon! Thanks to Wings and Wheels Foundation, The NAPA Network, Little Red Door Cancer Agency,Advanced Racing Suspensions for the support!

Back in the JK Racing, LLC #78 for tomorrow’s United States Speed Association Kenyon Midgets race at the Indianapolis Speedrome!

Been to victory lane more than once at this venue and hope to return tomorrow!

Last night was a gut punch! We were fast right out of the trailer Ayrton Houk Racing and Peri Racing we in the top 10 in FP1. FP2 was also our qualification effort and again we were fast. Ayrton qualified P1 and a new track record. Hunter, being new to the technical track Berlin Raceway, continued to reduce his lap times and qualify in the top 10. Ayrton went on to win the heat race and as his luck would be pull a 6 🤦‍♂️! Ayrton went from 6 first in amazing fashion until 2 laps to go he bequeathed the lead to Danny O’Gara when the carbs let go. Hunter was up to p7 when he followed Dora the Explorer in the woods on the back straight mid race. Hunter no swiping!!! All in all it was still a fun evening and I received an amazing gift of gratitude from Jeff Trailer Sales Hill of honey hand made by Nan! On to speedrome as the points should be amazingly tight for the championship!

Peri Racing sweeps the heat and the feature events Lincoln Park Speedway in the Christian Hogue tuned MedServe #9 car!!! Congrats on your first of many trips to Jeff Trailer Sales Hill Victory Lane Hunter!!! A mega thank you to Tony Fox for getting the car there for us. Hope the car is cleaned up by the time we get home🤷‍♂️
