✨OPEN CALL NATIONALS RECAP✨
Smart Performing Arts Center took on the Open Call Dance Competition — and left with some MAJOR wins! 💚💛
Friday kicked off with “The Final Callback” (Prelims), and our dancers didn’t come to play:
Tai’ E. – 1st Place Senior Solo | 5th Overall
Atira L. – 1st Place Teen Lead Role | 3rd Overall
Both received “Black Diamond Adjudication” honors!
Saturday & Sunday were NATIONALS— and our girls walked away as the TOP 2 in the entire competition!
Atira L. – Overall High Score WINNER (1st Place) + 2026 Teen Principal Lead Role
Tai’ E. – Overall High Score RUNNER-UP (2nd Place)
We are beyond proud of these powerful performers who represented SMART with excellence, grace, and grit all weekend long! Thank you Open Call for an AMAZING weekend!
