Basic 3 looks good on Valentina!!! She became hesitant to try stroking when I told her that was what we were working on that day… So, I called them “alternating scooter pushes” instead. She was intrigued by this change of label and gave them a try!!! Can’t wait to work on these some more!!! Yay, Valentina!!! 💃🏽💫💝⛸️

Lara & Avery wanted to show me the program that they choreographed with Raelynn (who is not in this video). It makes me so happy that these girls love choreography and have such creativity to create their own figure skating routines!! This will be very helpful in the future when they are coaches themselves, but I have a feeling there may be some pushback to MY choreography when I create their next programs😅🤣🤣. Regardless, way to go on being so imaginative out there on the ice, little ladies! 💃🏼💃🏼🩵💜💝⛸️

Throwback Thursday to the Addison Ice Arena Christmas Show 🎄🦌🧚🏼♀️⛸️ in 2023!!! Tony(then age 7.5) & Lara(then age 5) were so little🥹🥹. This was our last performance in Chicago before we packed up and moved south to Texas!🤠
Raelynn’s first time on the fishing pole 🎣 harness!! It won’t be long before she’s waltzing and learning all of her single jumps, but I just wanted to give her a little intro to flying on ice to get her motivated for the future. Thanks to Coach John John Kanicka for all of your help! 💃🏼💫🩵⛸️
