Master Nick is headed to WKSA Headquarters for Masters Training, so there will be no BBC class and no make-up classes today.

School is almost back in session, but the training doesn’t stop! 💪 Here’s what’s happening this August at the dojang.

🏆 WKSA South Central Tournament Recap 🏆

Last Saturday, 26 students from K*k Sool Won™ of Prosper Family Martial Arts traveled to Fort Smith, Arkansas to compete in the WKSA South Central Tournament—and what an unforgettable weekend it was!

🥉 Our team finished 3rd out of 15 schools, missing 2nd place by just ONE point! Every student who stepped onto the competition floor played a part in our success, and we couldn’t be prouder.

🥇 A huge congratulations to JKN Rachel, who made school history by becoming K*k Sool Won™ of Prosper’s first-ever Grand Champion!

❤️ Another unforgettable moment was watching PKJN Nick and DBN Lexi perform their first father-daughter demonstration together—a beautifully synchronized Dae Geup Hyung.

But the tournament was about so much more than the competition. Team dinners, pool parties, cheering each other on, strengthening relationships, and forging lifelong friendships reminded us what Team Prosper is all about.

Thank you to every student, parent, grandparent, volunteer, and supporter who represented our school with heart, respect, and sportsmanship. And thank you to K*k Sa Nim, Chong Jae Nim, JDKJN Mike, KSW River Valley, and all the Masters, School Owners, and Black Belts who made this incredible tournament possible.

On June 20th, our students took on 2nd Quarter Black Belt Testing—over 2 hours of kick drills, forms, techniques, and challenges designed to test the mind, body, and spirit.

We were also honored to welcome 3 visiting Black Belt Candidates from our sister school, K*k Sool Won™ of Murphy.

Attention students! A great training opportunity is coming up on Sunday, June 28. Don’t miss the opportunity to learn skills from our guest masters at our very own dojang!

The Seminar is open to all ranks ages 12 & up or by invitation. After the seminar we will continue with the workshop for Black Belts. The Seminar costs $60 to attend, or $40 if you participated in the South Central Tournament on June 27. The workshop costs $75, or $55 if you a participated in the tournament, and it includes the seminar.
