Mobilize Fitness is beyond excited to announce our partnership with Fenix Performance Physiotherapy LLC.

Dr. Matt Kahre’s credentials are as long as the alphabet, and his background in physical therapy, athletic training, strength and conditioning, and recovery make him an asset to safe and successful fitness.

Fenix Performance Physiotherapy is on a mission to help active people recover from injury and pain by optimizing movement. Together, Fenix and Mobilize Fitness employ the Functional Movement Screen to help our clients perform at their greatest level.

At Mobilize, we pride ourselves on providing a safe workout environment, but if pain or injury occurs, we take advantage of Matt’s skill and similar mindset to help our clients recover their mobility and adapt an exercise plan to reach their goals.

Here is a nice tip to help with self management of shoulder pain! Movement imbalances contribute to limited tissue healing and nagging shoulder problems that don't seem to heal! If you have ongoing pain, reach out for a consult.

Here are some helpful tips for performing kettlebell swings! If you feel sore in your back and shoulders after performing swings, take some time to practice these movements. Swings should be primarily targeting your glutes and hamstrings!

2 years post ACL and NOT better!

Movement screening has been a crucial part of my treatment methodology for over 10 years. Utilizing the FMS helps to identify pain and movement asymmetries before they become major problems. If you are being bothered by nagging injuries, or if your rehabilitation seems to be progressing slowly, you would likely benefit from a screen and custom corrective exercises to improve your movement quality and training potential. I see clients like this all the time who were not properly managed and never regained their full function after surgery or injury. Come to Fenix, it's never too late to Rise Stronger!
