Moma’s Love Soap and Things is now closed.
I’ve been in my head trying to figure out what to post and how to say it. So here it is. For months I’ve been trying to figure out what to do. I knew the business was no longer working, but I’m stubborn and didn’t want to feel like a failure.

Meanwhile, this new thing has been brewing since 2022. That was year two of Moma’s Love. Imagine holding on to something that no longer works for three more years than you were supposed to. EXHAUSTING. Things kept going wrong, but I desperately tried to make them right. After all, this was all my hard work, the dream I had since I was a kid.

This year, I hit a state of burnout which led to me one day sobbing about the state of my business. I decided that day something had to change. I was going to say, “forget it all.”

Then I remembered the dreams I had in 2022. Multiple times, I woke up out of my sleep saying “Shiloh,” so I looked it up. A place of peace. And that’s exactly what I will create. That’s the goal. That’s the journey I have always been on, to ultimately be in a place of peace and for those around me to feel at peace too.

So while I’m saddened to close the door on Moma’s Love Soap and Things, I am elated to start Journey to Shiloh and share it with you all. Thank you for supporting me and shopping with me. I hope we can continue our journey together in a new and more evolved way.
