Our West Tennessee 2012 team has suffered an unimaginable loss. Meri Ruth Coats unexpectedly lost her father, Shane, last night. Shane is the one who inspired MR to get behind the plate and has always played a big part in her success as a catcher. Shane was never more proud than when he watched his daughter following in his footsteps.

We are asking our Tennessee Bombers community to cover Meri Ruth and her mother, Katie, in prayers as they grieve this tragic loss.
