Great first week of our youth program in the books! There is still plenty of time to join if interested. We look forward to the room continuing to grow with new wrestlers, wrestlers wrapping up Fall sports, and wrestlers who were traveling over Fall break. This week’s schedule is below with some shots from one of our practices last week.

🎁It is feeling a bit like Christmas Eve over here with the youth wrestling season starting off tomorrow. We can't wait to see everyone in the room for practice starting at 6:00 PM tomorrow, Monday 10/12.

We had another great new parent meeting earlier this evening and the anticipation for the season is certainly high. Couldn't make it to one of the new parent meetings... no problem! Just come out and see us at any practice or reach out via e-mail 📨([email protected]) and we will be happy to share information with you.

🌊We can't wait to introduce our new families to Wave Wrestling and what it means to be part of the Wave Family. Our veteran families will undoubtedly be waiting with welcoming arms and words for you over the coming weeks.🌊

We know many of you are still wrapping up fall sports 🏈 🏃 ⚽ or maybe off on fall break this week😎⛱... no worries, come and join us whenever you can. Wrapping up your existing spots seasons is important and so is getting a little time away to recharge over a break! The wrestling journey is a marathon not a sprint and we will be in the room waiting as soon as you are ready!

Feel like we should end the post giving our own John Weinlein a quick shout-out. Over the last week or so he has gotten to wrestle in a very cool national level All-Star dual where he knocked off a New Jersey state placer. Following that John headed off to the PNL Fall Championships where he went 4-1 picking up a win over a Indiana state placer and his lone lose coming 2-0 to a Missouri state champion who has a few national All-American honors to his credit (like John). Great start to your folkstyle season making some great memories John!💥

🌊We are looking forward to another great year at Wave Wrestling Club developing character and commitment in young boys and girls through the sport of wrestling. Our biggest goal is supporting you in developing exceptional character within your child, and the sport of wrestling is a fantastic vehicle for this.🌊

🏅For more than 30 years Wave Wrestling has been helping kids learn about wrestling and, more importantly, themselves. From beginner's learning about the sport to kids chasing down national level All-American honors at the sport's most legitimate events, there is a home and a place for you in Wave Wrestling. Wrestlers from our club have won multiple national championships and gone on to make U.S. World Teams… you can accomplish anything with the right mindset and dedication. However, the youth wrestling accolades and even high school and college accomplishments are really just there to help mold you into the person you want to become in today's society.✝

🔎You won't find a wrestling room in the area packed with more experienced or knowledgeable coaches who will support your child in developing into a quality wrestler and, more importantly, individual.

Come and join us and see what wrestling and Wave Wrestling are about.

We don’t wait for the season to begin, we chase tough competition!! This weekend we had 11 wave wrestlers travel to Sandusky, OH for the Grappler Fall Classic- an absolutely loaded tournament with some of the best competition there is. Most brackets had 75+ wrestlers and this is preseason! We choose to start our season this way to see tough matches and tough brackets. No easy road. Find out where you are, learn what needs work, and get better.
Wave is coming home with three placers:
🏅Kash Harrison 5th place Elementary 85
🏅John Bramlett 5th place HS Varsity 185
🏅Cooper Combs going 9-2 for the day to secure 4th place in HS Varsity 113

Proud of everyone who stepped on the mat and chose to test themselves against this level of competition
