When I was 18 I moved to Cambodia as a missionary with
It was there I would quickly learn that poverty was the root of a thousand other injustices such as human trafficking, unethical textile production, starvation, etc.
I knew from the day I moved to Cambodia I wanted to do everything in my power to help alleviate poverty. My biggest goal in life was to create jobs for women stuck in the vicious cycle of poverty. This year that dream became a reality.
Four years after my time on the mission field my company has been able to distribute loans and funds to my friends in Cambodia supplying them with education, tools, and equipment to create their own business aiding to their local economies.
Congrats to Chanty and the team in Battambang for launching their inspiring company Hope and Joy through the loans distributed by Sol&Co’s profit.
So far from their company they have been taught students and women a practicals skill (sewing), created jobs, and supplied funds for basic needs in the community. -Lexi Grisanti Founder of Sol&Co
