Congrats Coach!!
Millington Central Middle High School is excited to announce Lauren Pannell as the new head coach of our Lady Trojan Volleyball program.
A familiar face to many, Lauren is a proud MCMHS graduate who made her mark as Homecoming Queen and was voted Best Smile during her time as a student. Her love for volleyball has continued long after graduation, both as a player and coach.
Lauren played collegiate volleyball at Lambuth and the University of Memphis, where she earned a degree in Biology. She also brings 20 years of coaching experience to the program, including 14 years coaching club and USA Volleyball.
We would also like to thank Coach Gallo for her dedication to the Lady Trojans and wish her all the best as she returns to her hometown.
Please join us in welcoming Coach Pannell back to Millington and cheering her on as she begins this new chapter with Lady Trojan Volleyball.

Congratulations to the following for making the 2026 MCHS Summer Team.
We will be reaching out to parents to join our GroupMe for information regarding fees/schedule and for any updates on games/practices.
We will practice Thursday and Friday at the high school field from 5:30-7.
Last year, the Black and Gold had to sit and watch the final event of the TSSAA State Championships. They were tied with Greeneville & they had someone in the pole vault and the Trojans did not and as a result, finished in second place in the team standings.
Fast forward 365 days and this time, it was a whole different story. In the last event of the day of the 2026 TSSAA State Championships, your Millington Trojans got the final gold as the 4 x 400 relay team of Orion Blackmon, Tayshaun Dye, Charles Brown and Kam Lloyd outraced the opposition! As a result, Millington has won their first state title in school history in boys track and field and only the second state title by a team in school history. The first was in girls' basketball back in 1928.
Congrats to Coach Cochran, his staff and this team for a remarkable performance!!
Last year, they were knocking on the door. This year, they kicked it down and walked right on through to claim their title!
